About the BestCities Global Forum
The BestCities Global Alliance is gathering industry thought-leaders, international associations and partner destinations under one roof in Madrid.
Scheduled conveniently after IBTM, which takes place in Barcelona from 30 November until 2 December, the Global Forum promises an opportunity for delegates to learn about inclusive meeting and event design, drawing insight from projects delivered on the ground in Madrid.
These learning and knowledge-sharing experiences will be immersive, providing delegates with some much-anticipated in-person engagement after 18 months of working from a laptop screen at home.

MADRID CONVENTION BUREAU
Our hosts for this year’s forum, the Madrid Convention Bureau, was the first tourist body in Spain to implement legacy projects in congresses held in the city, and it even has a specialised legacy department within its structure. To date, it has collaborated and/or promoted the organisation of legacy projects aimed at citizens, such as campaigns to promote healthy living habits or training in first aid. They have expanded their range of activities, together with a Spanish medical society, by developing training initiatives in medical oncology for healthcare personnel.
The Madrid Convention Bureau has been a partner of BestCities since 2017 and they are looking forward to welcoming you to their home for the first time hosting the Global Forum.
